1. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to everyone who uses Moveazy — whether you're a renter ("hunter") looking for a property, or a landlord or agency ("provider") listing properties. If you use the Moveazy mobile app or visit moveazy.app, you're agreeing to these terms.
You need to be at least 18 years old to use Moveazy.
2. Your account
When you sign up, you agree to:
- Give accurate information about yourself
- Keep your password secret — you're responsible for what happens on your account
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account
- Use the service for genuine renting purposes only
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Settings → Account → Delete account). See our privacy policy for what happens to your data.
3. What Moveazy is — and what we're not
Moveazy is a marketplace. We connect renters with landlords and agencies. We help you find each other, communicate, and arrange viewings.
Moveazy is not a letting agent. We don't represent either side of the transaction. We don't draft tenancy agreements, hold deposits, conduct credit checks, or guarantee any property or person on the platform.
Any agreement you enter into — a tenancy contract, a deposit, a payment — is between you and the other party directly. We're not party to it.
4. What you can post
Whatever you post on Moveazy — your profile, your messages, property listings, photos — you're confirming:
- It's accurate and not misleading
- You own the rights to the photos and content (no stock photos passed off as your property)
- It doesn't break any laws (e.g. discriminatory listings violate the Equality Act 2010)
- It's not abusive, harassing, or threatening
For landlords and agencies specifically
- You must have the legal right to let the property
- You must comply with all UK landlord obligations (gas safety, EPC, deposit protection, etc.)
- Verification is required before you can list properties
- We reserve the right to remove listings that look fraudulent or non-compliant
5. What we expect from you
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Scrape, copy, or harvest data from the app or website
- Attempt to bypass security measures or rate limits
- Pretend to be someone else
- Send spam or unsolicited commercial messages through the platform
- List properties you don't own or have no authority to let
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use the service in any way that interferes with other users
If you do any of these things, we may suspend or terminate your account immediately.
6. Content ownership
You keep ownership of everything you upload — your photos, your messages, your profile. By posting, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to display that content to other users for the purposes of operating the Moveazy service.
If you delete your content (or your account), we stop using it. See the privacy policy for retention specifics.
7. Verification
Landlords and agencies must be verified before listing. We may ask for proof of ID, proof of ownership, or proof that you're authorised to let on behalf of an owner.
Verification is a baseline check — it doesn't guarantee the landlord, the property, or the deal. Renters should still do their own due diligence.
8. Communications and notifications
By signing up, you agree to receive transactional emails and in-app notifications — password resets, application updates, viewing reminders, security alerts, etc. These are essential to the service.
We don't send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.
9. Payments and fees
Moveazy is free to download and free to use as a renter. Landlords and agencies may have paid tiers in future; if so, the terms of any paid plan will be clearly displayed before you subscribe.
We do not handle rent payments, deposits, or any money between renter and landlord. Those happen outside Moveazy.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if your activity puts other users at risk, or if we're legally required to.
You can terminate your account at any time, for any reason, from inside the app.
If we terminate your account, certain provisions of these terms (like content licences for messages you've already sent, and our liability limits) survive.
11. Disclaimer
Moveazy is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it accurate, available, and secure, but we don't guarantee:
- That every listing or user is legitimate (do your own checks)
- That the service will always be available (we'll try, but maintenance happens)
- That the service will meet every specific need you have
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties.
12. Our liability
We're not liable for:
- Disputes between renters and landlords
- Loss arising from a fraudulent listing or fraudulent user
- Indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost opportunity, etc.)
- Any damage caused by viruses, denial-of-service attacks, or other harmful material that may infect your device
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be limited under UK law.
Where we are liable, our total liability to you (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) for any claim is limited to £100 or the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email and in the app at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. Continuing to use Moveazy after that point means you accept the updated terms.
14. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales — unless you live elsewhere in the UK, in which case the courts of your home nation also have jurisdiction.
